Learn about women in Baltimore who desegregated various industries in the city during the Civil Rights Movement in this virtual discussion presented by the Baltimore Museum of Industry. Alexis Ojeda-Brown has worked at the BMI for 4 years and is the museum’s Marketing and DEAI Specialist. She is also the DEI Coordinator for University of Maryland’s Merrill College of Journalism. Formerly the program and education coordinator at the Lillie Carroll Jackson Civil Rights Museum, Alexis has developed curriculum for Baltimore City Public Schools exploring Baltimore’s Civil Rights History. This is an encore presentation.
