BNHA's lecture series returns in February with a short film double feature. Get to know these unique stories of Baltimore youth and engage in a conversation with the film creators about the topics that the films address.

By Any Means Necessary: Stories of Survival, directed by Tony Mendez (25 min.) takes a closer look at the young entrepreneurs that have grabbed both headlines and everyone’s attention. Hear directly from them about the impact of squeegeeing on their lives and what they need the public to understand about this unique approach to self-sufficiency.

Not Just a Game—The Story of Savage is a documentary about an East Baltimore ice hockey team and how it’s changing the lives of Baltimore youth. Produced by Just Stunt Productions for The Tender Bridge, the film follows Savage, one of the players on the Baltimore Banners team, through his first season and his growth on and off the ice.
